DeckTech was built on the belief that construction should be structured, transparent, and professionally managed.
Too often, homeowners feel uncertainty during building projects – unclear timelines, inconsistent communication, and shifting expectations.
Our company operates on defined systems that give clients clarity, confidence, and control from start to finish.
DeckTech began as a focused deck-building operation in Auburn, Alabama.
As our standards, systems, and capabilities matured, so did our vision.
Today, DeckTech represents a refined, professional approach to outdoor living installation across multiple Alabama and West Georgia markets.
Our identity is not defined by growth.
It is defined by how we build.
DeckTech is built around a simple idea: outdoor projects should be professionally managed, clearly communicated, and built to perform for generations in the Southeastern climate.
While many contractors treat deck construction as occasional work, DeckTech focuses specifically on outdoor living structures every day and operates with defined systems that keep projects organized from start to finish.
Specialized outdoor living expertise
Decks and porches are our focus. This specialization allows us to design and build structures that outperform the competition.
Certified TimberTech and Trex Installers
Our team meets elevated manufacturer standards for composite decking installation, protecting both product performance and warranty coverage.
Process-driven project management
Defined planning, scheduling, and communication systems keep projects moving smoothly and reduce uncertainty during construction by utilizing construction management software.
Materials chosen for conditions
We design structures to withstand heat, humidity, and moisture so your outdoor space performs well year after year.
Professional jobsite standards
Organized construction practices help minimize disruption while protecting your property throughout the build.
The result is a smoother building experience and an outdoor space designed to last.

As Owner and CEO of DeckTech, Foster is responsible for the vision, leadership, and operational systems that drive the company forward. Much of his focus is spent refining processes, developing team members, and creating a customer experience that is organized, efficient, and predictable from the first consultation to the final walkthrough. His goal is simple: build a company that delivers exceptional outdoor living spaces while continuously improving the way those projects are planned, managed, and executed.
Foster founded the company while attending college, building decks as a student and steadily growing the business over the past six years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Building Science and grew up around construction, developing an appreciation for craftsmanship, problem-solving, and hard work from an early age.
What Foster enjoys most about his work is helping create spaces where families can slow down, connect, and spend meaningful time together. He believes outdoor living should provide an escape from the busyness of everyday life - a place where fresh air, sunlight, and nature help bring balance, peace, and perspective.
Foster is passionate about building more than just outdoor spaces. Guided by his faith and a kingdom-minded perspective, he is deeply invested in helping his team grow personally, professionally, and spiritually while creating a company culture built on integrity, service, and genuine care for others. He believes the strongest businesses are those that positively impact their employees, clients, and communities.
Outside of work, Foster enjoys spending time with his wife, Mikhayla, as they prepare to welcome their first child. Together they live on a five-acre farm with their three dogs, goats, and horses. He also enjoys hunting, searching for arrowheads, reading, and serving alongside his community at All Christ Church.

As Owner and Operations Manager of DeckTech, Riley oversees every stage of the construction process - from production scheduling and material procurement to client communication, project management, and job costing. His focus is ensuring every project is executed with professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship while providing homeowners with a smooth and stress-free experience.
Riley began his journey in construction at just 16 years old and helped build DeckTech (then Auburn Deck Company) from the ground up. Through years of hands-on experience, he has developed a deep appreciation for creating outdoor spaces that not only reflect each homeowner’s vision but also provide a place for rest, connection, and meaningful time together.
What Riley enjoys most about his work is helping homeowners navigate the construction process with confidence and ease. He finds great fulfillment in seeing a project transform from a blank canvas into a thoughtfully designed outdoor living space tailored to the unique needs and lifestyle of each family.
His faith in Jesus Christ serves as the foundation for both his personal life and leadership approach. Guided by a kingdom-minded perspective, Riley believes the company’s greatest purpose extends beyond building exceptional projects. He is passionate about serving others with integrity, pursuing excellence in every detail, and creating a positive impact on clients, employees, and the community.
For Riley, outdoor living represents more than a project - it‘s a place of refuge, peace, and restoration. He believes the best outdoor spaces allow families to slow down, gather together, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
Outside of work, Riley enjoys hiking, kayaking, fly fishing, and spending time outdoors whenever possible. He also serves on the worship team at his local church and leads a small group of men who share a love for the outdoors and a desire to grow in their faith and relationships.

Every DeckTech project follows a clear, structured process designed to keep your project organized, predictable, and professionally managed from start to finish.
Every project begins with a conversation about your goals, your property, and how you want to use your outdoor space.
During this stage, we evaluate the existing conditions of your home, discuss material options, and define the overall vision for the project. This helps ensure expectations are clear and that the proposed design aligns with both your needs and your investment range before moving forward.
Once the project scope is established, we move into the planning phase.
This includes finalizing material selections, confirming structural requirements, coordinating permits when necessary, and establishing a clear construction timeline. Careful planning helps ensure the project moves efficiently and that everything is ready before installation begins.
Our trained team executes your project according to manufacturer guidelines and DeckTech quality standards.
Throughout construction, we maintain organized jobsites, clear communication, and a structured installation process designed to keep your project moving smoothly while minimizing disruption to your home and daily routine.
Once construction is complete, we conduct a final walkthrough to review the finished structure together and ensure everything meets our standards and your expectations.
